Last updated: July 2026. This Privacy Notice explains how Sterr Technologies ("we") handles personal data for Proxysterr (the "Service"). We are privacy-first and collect as little as possible.

1. Data we collect

• Account: your email address, and an optional display name and preferred language.
• Billing: wallet balance and a ledger of credit transactions. Card and crypto payments are handled by our payment providers; we do not store full card numbers.
• Usage: aggregate bandwidth counters needed to meter your plan.
• Technical: limited logs (e.g. sign-up IP) for security and fraud prevention.

2. What we do not do

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not log or inspect the contents of your proxy traffic.

3. How we use data

To provide and secure the Service, meter usage and billing, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations. Our legal bases include performance of a contract, legitimate interests (security), and legal compliance.

4. Payment providers

Payments are processed by Paddle (card/fiat) and NOWPayments (crypto). They act as independent controllers/processors for the payment and receive only the data needed to process it. See their respective privacy policies.

5. Sharing

We share data only with service providers that help us run the Service (hosting, email delivery, payments), under appropriate safeguards, or where required by law.

6. Retention

We keep account and transaction records for as long as your account is active and as required for legal, accounting and fraud-prevention purposes, then delete or anonymise them.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.
